Wednesday's are dedicated to me getting caught up on the music that I've ignored or overlooked during the past fourteen years. Today, I am taking a look at the music of Drake, a hip-hop artist from Canada. Apparently he's the hotness and I've selected his 2009 hit 'Best I Ever Had' as my first exposure to Drake.
I'm a hip-hop fan, but I'm not feeling this song. The video is funny because Drake is the head coach of The Hooters High School basketball team. Drake took some ridiculous basketball hip-hop video influences from Master P's 'Make 'Em Say Uhh!' and Trick Daddy and Trina's 'Take It To Da House'. It looks like I wasn't missing anything when it comes to Drake.
